U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

This major gives a fundamental understanding of the theoretical principles of software and digital systems within the context of current technology. It is designed for career-oriented students as well as for students who wish to pursue graduate studies. Our program is balanced between theoretical and applied courses. In addition to developing computing-related skills, the student will gain awareness of the human and social aspects of computer systems, and how computer science relates to other disciplines. Students will also have the opportunity to earn a minor in Math or in Actuarial Science.
