U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

The course of studies fills the gap between pure business management training courses for physicians and business management courses. The advantage of the course of studies lies in an interdisciplinary group of students, who are taught practical by open teaching and learning forms. For this reason, in addition to doctors, social scientists, economists and nurses are also involved who want to prepare themselves for management tasks in health care.

Acquisition of specific core competences for the takeover of responsible tasks in performance management in health care facilities. In addition to the acquisition of profound expertise in management and specific competences for health care, the study enables the ability to think empirically-critical and to use scientific methods to reflect data and to use it in a practice-oriented manner, such as the management, implementation and development in the personnel area. The degree program is aimed at potential students who, in addition to training in the core subjects of computer science, are also interested in the interaction of hardware and software in a complex system. Such embedded hardware / software systems are always subject to technical constraints and restrictions. Only through the holistic view is a successful design of the system with computer science and methods from other technical disciplines possible. Therefore, the program also focuses on knowledge, methods and procedures in electrical engineering and information technology

In teaching, great importance is placed on the practical application of economic theories. The programme's title says it all: "Applied Economics". In groups of no more than 40 students, as well as in projects, seminars and small-group projects, teaching methods are employed that are designed to involve students actively. Professors are supported in their professional development as teachers through university-didactic programmes. A large area of electives allows students to define their own specialisations.
