Der duale Studiengang Pflege ist ein Bachelorstudiengang, der in Verbindung mit Berufsfachschulen und einer Klinik/Pflegeeinrichtung erfolgt. Das Studium ist ausbildungsbegleitend und bringt den Studierenden einen doppelten Abschluss: den Bachelor of Science und einen Berufsabschluss in der Pflege. In dem Verschränkungsmodell bestehen curriculare Vernetzungen der Bildungsanteile durch ein gemeinsames Rahmencurriculum mit den Lernorten Hochschule, Berufsfachschule und Praxis. Praxislernmodule stärken die Theorie-Praxis-Vernetzung im Studienverlauf. Es ist ein Praxisprojekt im Ausland möglich.

Es besteht eine Anbindung an das Deutsche Netzwerk für Qualitätsentwicklung in der Pflege (DNQP) und eine enge Praxisverzahnung durch Projektstudien. Durch die Auswahl von zwei Vertiefungen können die Studierenden sich in Wahlbereichen spezialisieren (Pflegepädagogik, Qualitätsentwicklung, Organisationsentwicklung).

The project team focuses on research into inclusion in day-care centers, schools and institutions of vocational education and work. Implementation of inclusion brings with it enormous research needs in the areas of organizational and personnel development, legal design an d concrete municipal implementation. In addition to the theoretical and methodological foundations of the science of Social Work, students are also instructed in the related fields of education, psychology, law, and social sciences. Among the outstanding features of the degree program are its strong practical relevance and the intensive support given by the teaching staff. Two internships accompanying the study program and a practical scientific project.
