Die Lehrinhalte sind durch die enge Kooperation mit Bosch an den aktuellen Anforderungen der Industrie ausgerichtet und zeichnen sich durch eine besondere Kombination von Leistungs- und Mikroelektronik aus. In einem zweisemestrigen Projektpraktikum wird eine komplette Produktentwicklung mit industrieähnlichem Team-Setting durchgeführt. Hierbei entwickelte Chips werden auch gefertigt. Der Abschluss wird von der Universität Stuttgart ohne Auflagen für eine anschließende Promotion anerkannt. Werkstudententätigkeiten bei Bosch werden organisatorisch unterstützt.
