U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

This Degree focuses on the integral and generalist training of the student to qualify him in the exercise of the profession of geologist in all professional activities that are related to Geology and in its scientific, technical and teaching development. Its high proportion in practical hours is aimed at integrating field and laboratory data with theory, following the scientific method. In addition, its multi- and interdisciplinary nature links it with current environmental processes, as well as in the understanding of the need to exploit and conserve Earth's resources.

This Master is oriented to the multidisciplinary specialization of mineral resources from a geological and environmental perspective. It has two curricular itineraries: Geology, Exploration and Evaluation of Mineral Resources, and Environmental Analysis and Management of Mineral Resources. In addition, the student can direct their training towards research or to more technical aspects of the exploration and management of mineral resources. The environment of Huelva offers the ideal framework for the development of the title, given its historical mining and the environmental problems it raises.

This Master's degree provides specialized practical teaching on biological diversity and its conservation, within the privileged framework offered by the Huelva environment. Protected areas coexist in this province, such as Doñana, Marismas del Odiel or Sierra de Aracena, with areas where various human activities are developed: mining, intensive cultivation, industry and tourism. This circumstance encourages the existence of several projects for the management of the environment and its biodiversity, which the Master uses for his practices and for the study of cases in situ.
