U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

The BSc in Chemistry program builds a strong basic background for students for future work as researchers, innovators, or technical chemists to serve industry. The majority of students follow the research emphasis and do a concentrated research project in their senior year, while others go to cooperative experience in industry or at national centers. Due to the research emphasis, several BSc students have published international journal papers, and some have been awarded for outstanding undergraduate research output.

Teaching and learning at FUCD takes place in a variety of formats including lectures, small groups, practical work in laboratories, field visits, phantom head simulators and chairside teaching in clinics. Strategies are utilized according to the subject requirements and in line with current medical education principles. There is a focus on early and safe clinical exposure of the students. Formative assessments are a routine practice; the year-round internal assessments are also factored into the end-of-year summative assessment. Students learn and practice patient management at the campus.
