U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

We owe all our existence to carbon’s unique nature. In our division several research studies have been conducting on the areas of Organic Synthesis, Polymer Chemistry, Computational Chemistry and Natural Product Chemistry. We are dealing with the design and synthesis of new organic compounds for different applications and especially we are working on the synthesis organic dye molecules such as phthalocyanine

Teaching will be by seminar method, whereby material is prepared in advance and made available online for class discussion. You will make the most out of the module if you have adequately studied recommended material relevant to each day of teaching. In particular, this will strengthen your understanding of the more specialist issues which normally come towards the end of the module. An active participation in class is desired.

The essential method of teaching at the Department of Mechanical Engineering is organised classes (lectures, practical classes, seminars, projects, and laboratory exercises) aiming to execute a specific teaching task in a definite time. The programme profile has to provide criterions for the Turkish Accreditation Board of MÜDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs); and later the International Accreditation Board of ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).

The undergraduate curriculum of the Department of Mathematics aims to present the basic knowledge and mathematical thinking system in pure and applied mathematics. Mathematical thinking is much more than being able to do arithmetic operations or solve algebraic problems. Mathematical thinking is a complete way of looking at events, reducing them to their numerical, structural, and logical foundations and analyzing patterns on that basis. A student who gains this foundation has great flexibility in career choice.
