The Department of ETE has a definite program with modern teaching methodology having strong background in basic science and mathematics. Students are taught in such a way to prepare them as capable of identifying engineering problems in the fields of electronics and telecommunication and employ necessary tools and techniques for their sustainable solution and lifelong learning. They are prepared to equip themselves in the job market of both home and abroad. The emphasis is given more in practical oriented teaching-learning besides the necessary theoretical learning.

The programs carries out scientific research, effectively communicate findings, enables graduates in possessing expertise in electronics and telecommunications engineering fields along with strong analytical and problem solving skills. Graduates also become expert in operating basic and complex instruments and tools in related fields. Designing, testing, installing, supervising, diagnosing and maintaining different electronics and telecommunications equipment and tools is also a special feature of the program.Developing software in high level language is another feature.
