The Civil Engineering Program, with its four majors is organized as 4+1 academic program and comply with Bologna Agreement to produce compatibility an comparability with the academic study programs in the German and European Universities. This program organization allows the students to finish 240 ECTS of their academic study at end of the 8th semester by successfully completing all the required courses (210 ECTS), the bachelor thesis for 3 months (15 ECTS), and the internship of at least 3 months (15 ECTS).

In alignment with GUC research strategy, the Civil Engineering Program encourages and guides students to conduct inter-disciplinary projects and junior engineering research. Moreover, the program promotes postgraduate studies among students and teaching assistants, and encourages academic research among faculty members. The Civil Engineering Program owns one of the most current and comprehensive computer-based and experimental clusters of civil engineering labs. All labs are outfitted with popular and advanced civil engineering software.
