The BA in Social Work and Social Policy is a four year study programme (eight semesters) consisting of 40 courses and 240 ECTS. 60% of the courses are mandatory and 40% are elective. In the first two years, courses focus on more broader subjects, such as social policy, social protection, social development, sociology, political science, while the courses in the third and the fourth years provide more in-depth specialisation, like clinical social work, social work in multicultural context, social work with children in risk etc. Internship is provided as part of some of the courses.
