U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

Subjects closely related to the dental structure are verticalized from the 3rd year of study, until the end of the sixth year of study, in which teaching is based exclusively on clinical work. The subject Scientific research is verticalized throughout the duration of the study program. It integrates an introduction to scientific work, informatics, statistics and evidence-based dentistry. This enables dental students to continuously acquire knowledge and skills that enable them to work independently, which is ultimately proven by the successful preparation of the Diploma Thesis.
