U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

Environmental studies and sustainable development offers a comprehensive introduction into the area of environment protection, with regards to global aspects of environmental issues and with the aim of discovering sustainable ways of life among the Western societies. Study subjects cover both the key areas of environmental issues as well as the practical skills. This interdisciplinary curriculum is set up in a way as to enable a deeper understanding of mutual links and connections among the three key pillars of sustainable development: environmental, economic and social ones.

The core of the programme consists of an optionally selected block of courses given by a wide range of specialized lectures and seminars aimed at certain periods of history, geographical areas (for instance, the history of Russia in the 20th century, the history of Latin America, Turkey) or concrete issues (for instance, the history of nobility, witch trials, women in the Middle Ages). It is compulsory to select a set number of courses dealing with a historiographical topic. Other additional courses may be chosen at student's discretion and according to the free capacity of all programmes.

Molecular Biophysics is considered as a border field between structural and molecular biology on one side and physics on the other. The investigation of living systems requires a complex approach and that is why the students will learn the basics of advanced mathematics and physics, but also chemistry and biology. The students specialize either theoretically or experimentally, according to the type of methods they are interested in.

Biophysics represents the boundary field between physics and biology. Due to its multidisciplinarity, it provides a complex view on processes in living systems, from the molecular level to the level of whole organisms. The basic subjects studied are mathematics and physics, instrumental physics, and experimental methods of biophysics. Students can be specialized in the plant or medical biophysics by choosing optional subjects. The curriculum provides a broad general basis for the follow-up master study in the field.

The master's degree program in andragogy follows up on the bachelor's degree program in andragogy and other related study programs in social sciences and humanities. It deepens the knowledge of learning and education theory and the fundamental disciplines. The andragogy degree program is based on an interdisciplinary approach to integral andragogy as a science dealing with adult education, educational care and adaptation of human potential. Adult education is conceived not as an independent subject of andragogy but as one of the social intervention tools.
