U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

Therefore, during your studies you will gain key knowledge not only in the field of modern production management concepts, but you will also learn to understand the interconnectedness and essence of processes implemented in industrial companies throughout the product life cycle. We use the latest technical equipment in our teaching. Our students have at their disposal a Fischertechnik kit, on which they learn to build and program any models, such as an automated warehouse, a product sorter or a robotic arm. The department also has two research laboratories.
