U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

The curriculum for this cycle conferring a master's degree is unique in Portugal and in the context of technical training within the primary sector. The network of the national agricultural education is systematically composed of two dichotomous dimensions ¬ or it is offered in exclusive training on agriculture, or it is offered in exclusive training on livestock production. The MEAP curriculum encompasses the 2 strands, in an updated broadband training perspective. The training plan also constitutes a natural continuity and suitable to the curriculum of the 1st cycle.

This study program is a recent one, that provides education in an area where there was clearly a demand of highly skilled and independent secretarial / clerk professionals. On this arena, most of the professionals have only lower level degrees or no specific training in the area, which means the graduates of this program are clearly distinctive in the market. The study program is more complete than lower level secretarial training by providing also a managerial mindset as well as traditional secretarial skills.

The study cycle provides a comprehensive training that enables a swift and successful integration in the labor market. The teaching staff with a strong component of civil engineers with, present or past, professional activity, allows for a comprehensive view of real-life situations, when subjects are being taught, adopting mostly theoretical-practical classes, with greater levels of interaction between teachers and students.graduates can carry out several activities: designing, executing, and supervising, in its area of training, both in the public or private sectors, join research teams, etc.

Students are encouraged to undertake independent reading and studying both to supplement and consolidate what is being taught and to broaden their individual knowledge and understanding of the subjects. In several subjects, students must present written reports, in which they are encouraged to include small state-of-the-art reviews regarding a specific topic. Such activities are accompanied by the teachers, who, in their turn, are mostly involved in research centers, based outside ISEC, in all the areas typically associated with civil engineering’s scope of interest.

It encompasses the main study fields of lab diagnostics: Lab Biochemistry, Hematology, Immunohematology, Hemostasis, Immunology, Microbiology, Genetics. The excellent infrastructure results in exceptionally broad possibilities to gain Health Care labour market-oriented skills to the graduate in the largest health care institution, licensed to provide lab diagnostic and testing-related consulting services. The programme offers a strong foundation in medical research methodology while allowing specialisation in individual interests.

Students are encouraged to undertake independent reading and studying both to supplement and consolidate what is being taught and to broaden their individual knowledge and understanding of the subjects. In several subjects, students must present small prototypes and written reports, in which they are encouraged to include small state-of-the-art reviews regarding a specific topic. Some activities are integrated in research projects with the industry and accompanied by the teachers, who, mostly, are involved in research centers.

Our BSc programme in Mathematics is designed to satisfy two targets. Our first target is to give our students a concrete basis in Mathematics that will allow them to use it in order to be able to adopt to the modern demands of the society. We achieve that by teaching a variety of mandatory courses (18) on all main mathematical disciplines. Our second target is to provide many elective courses in that will allow our students to get deeper to various mathematical disciplines. At the moment we are able to provide 69 elective courses in cooperation with other Depts of the Univ. of the Aegean.

Most of full-time teachers in the department are PhDs/specialists. For P/TP matrix, we have part-time teachers with a pharmacy degree and Master and are Specialist, who work in pharmacy organizations (updating of contents and connection with the profession). T classes use expository type, stimulating student's participation/involvement. TP/P classes are based on solving exercises, simulating real professional situations and laboratory practices. The internship is entirely carried out in a real work situation. Research is encouraged, with all students having to carry out research work.

The Bachelor in Social Gerontology aims to develop professional skills in the field of comunity intervention and gerontological organizations management. This course is based on the definition of the aging process from a life span/ life course perspective and on a multi/ interdisciplinary matrix, assuming human aging as a biopsychosocial phenomenon. In addition to the subjects that cover core areas of the study of aging, it presents a matrix more oriented towards social and educational dimensions of gerontological intervention and the relational and ethical principles of professional practice.
