Our institution uses a strong practical profile for the teaching and learning of Pharmaceutical Sciences. For most of our courses the knowledge gained in the theoretical classes is applied in laboratory rotations where strong practical stress is put on the professional pharmaceutical skills that will be used in the future professional life. Problem based learning is also used in Theoretical practical classes. In all situations the professional role of the pharmacist is kept in mind in order to prepare our students for the future challenges they will face as pharmacists.
