U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

The study programme has been conceived and successively perfected in order to provide a solid background in business for graduates that aspire to join businesses as junior managers and for those that wish to enrol in master degrees in any European university. A Business Project unit in the last year of the programme integrates learning (finance, HR, strategy, taxation, etc.). Internships (emphasizing general management or accountancy) increase learning and employability while a special unit, “Skills Portfolio”, incentivize students to develop further soft skills during the study programme.

We follow a new approach by offering the courses as packages called capsule. Each subcomponent of the capsule is integrated and supported by projects that involve all the subcomponents. In our courses, we also aim at providing a global perspective to our students supported by our Global Issues courses. The project-based implementation develops the design skills of the students, supported by a long-term internship in the final semester. Our research and teaching areas cover electronics, photonics, power systems, power electronics, biomedical engineering, signal processing, sensors, MEMS, etc.
