Both curriculums have sufficient quality and standard by the qualification standard framework in the national higher education level in 2009. The curriculum of bachelor's degree has been certificated for profession of civil engineers controlled by the Thailand Council of Engineers. In addition, the department will have a plan to establish the doctoral degree in 2022.

The Environmental Engineering program has been established in 2007. The teaching and learning course outline and staff qualification are certified by the Council of Engineers Thailand and Office of the Higher Education Commission. The teaching is held on not only in the classroom but also in the field. The student’s communication and presentation skills are improved using a Seminar subject. The work integrated learning (WIL) system is used by Co-operative Education to enhance the student ability and skill before graduation.

The focused research area includes wastewater and solid waste management, air pollution, greenhouse gas mitigation, and environmental management system (EMS). The obtained research fund is mostly from the external institutions while the academic service granted from the private enterprise. The bachelor and master students are commonly engaged in the projects as a research assistant. The number of published international journal of the staffs are increasing in last 2 years. The total number of published papers of the faculty is 30 papers (25 staffs).

The program is designed according to suggestions from all stakeholders such as enterprise/industrial organizations and graduates. Thus, we not only teach the background theory of engineering, but also the application of these principles. We also include the Co-operative Education or Cooperative and Work Integrated Education (CWIE) in the program so that our students are well trained to be proficient mechanical engineer. The students will be taught to practice professionally, develop a commitment toward lifelong interdisciplinary learning, fulfill their potential for responsible leaderships.
