U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

Engineers have a wide and solid knowledge base in science and technology, to solve problems within the boundaries of Ecology, Society and Business. Education includes lectures and group activities, widened in a final professional project, led by professors linked to the profession. Students acquire throughout their studies a complete education in specific and general professional competences. In the field of materials engineering graduates acquire the knowledge and skills required for product design, selection, extraction, development and processing of materials, production and quality control as well as manufacturing, recycling and environmental impact projects. Learning is achieved in classes that form the technical basis and through a final project of a professional nature, by professors linked to the profession. Throughout their studies, students have fun and acquire a complete education in specific and general professional competences.,1. ETSII is committed to promoting exchange of students and staff with leading academic engineering institutions. Every year, 50% of the students at ETSII carry out part of their studies in other universities all over the world. 2. The international accreditations awarded to different ETSII degrees reflect the outstanding quality of its bachelor and master programs. This recognition is due to the committment of outstanding faculty members as well as dedicated students who aim for excellent foundations in order to develop their professional careers, as recognized by employers. 3. A multidisciplinary approach to research, within top-level research groups and with possibility of participation in International Consortiums and projects with companies. ,Training of experts in acquisition of geospatial data Training of experts in management and computation of geospatial data Training of experts in observation and representation of the territory,Formation of Graduates in Civil Engineering qualified for the profession of Technical Engineer in Public Works; Formation of Postgraduate Studies in the University Master in Planning and Management of Infrastructures; Teaching of own titles of Master in Auditing and Road Security and Mobility, and, also, Master in Project of Structures of Containment and Special Foundations.,Telecommunications and Telematics Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sound and Image Engineering

The Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales (ETSII) from UPM was founded in 1845 as a response to the need for expertise in engineering. Since then, programs offered at ETSII have come up with multidisciplinary engineers with solid scientific and technical background, capable of integrating knowledge from various technologies and fields. Faculty members at ETSII have demonstrated significant engagement in contemporary teaching methods, especially in project-based learning, and they also occupy a leading role in Research and Development.

1. 3. A multidisciplinary approach to research, within top-level research groups and with possibility of participation in International Consortiums and projects with companies.,An important feature of ETSIT is that its intense research activity is transferred to education, through the participation of last year students in research activities or through the completion of the final-project in their laboratories. Another aspect is the intense relationship with corporations, which allows numerous places (over 150) to be offered to students for external internships or final-project at their facilities. These two points also applies to the PhD level to through some of the industrial PhD programmes offered in the school. A third aspect is the implication of the center with the internationalization, which has led to numerous cooperation agreements with foreign universities (over 120) for both-directions mobility of students, teachers and researchers.,• Multidisciplinary education in fields pertaining to industrial engineering and product design, including chemical, electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering and automation and robotics. • The ETSIDI provides rigorous instruction, versatility, flexibility, and updated training adapted to the demands of society. • The ETSIDI is committed to supporting scientific and technical research, and the transfer of their results to the productive sector.,Telecommunications and Telematics Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sound and Image Engineering,

1. 3. A multidisciplinary approach to research, within top-level research groups and with possibility of participation in International Consortiums and projects with companies. ,Mining Engineering; Energy Engineering; Raw materials, materials and environment.,An important feature of ETSIT is that its intense research activity is transferred to education, through the participation of last year students in research activities or through the completion of the final-project in their laboratories. Another aspect is the intense relationship with corporations, which allows numerous places (over 150) to be offered to students for external internships or final-project at their facilities. These two points also applies to the PhD level to through some of the industrial PhD programmes offered in the school. A third aspect is the implication of the center with the internationalization, which has led to numerous cooperation agreements with foreign universities (over 120) for both-directions mobility of students, teachers and researchers.,Forestry Engineering, Natural Environment Engineering, Environmental Technology Engineering,

Graduates acquire the knowledge and skills required to plan, design, build and maintain infrastructures in equilibrium with the environment and social bearings in civil engineering. Throughout their studies, students have fun and acquire a complete education in specific and general professional competences,
