Bachelor degree in Agricultural Engineering) are eminently practical, which means that, in general, approximately half of the teaching in each subject is given in small groups, laboratory groups and computer groups. All degrees have the possibility of external internships in companies and institutions, being mandatory in three degrees. There are two double degrees, on the one hand, in Oenology and Agricultural Engineering, and on the other in Mathematics and Software Engineering. ;Escuela de Máster y Doctorado de la UR:his master's degree is eminently practical: approximately half of the teaching sessions are given in small problem-solving groups, laboratories and computer rooms, which are complemented with practical visits to companies in the agri-food sector. An external internship (minimum of 270 horas) in companies or institutions is mandatory. During their final year students develop individual capstone projects that involve a comprehensive engineering design project in which acquired competencies are combined. Students are required to successfully defend their projects in a final oral examination.

The three departments closest to the Faculty, namely the Department of Agriculture and Food, the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, and the Department of Chemistry, host a total of 23 research groups in their respective fields of specialisation. This is a diverse and in many cases multidisciplinary research. The Degree in Geography and History forms in the field of human and social sciences. It provides a theoretical and practical training that responds to professional demands that may arise in the field of teaching (secondary and university), and in the field of research, private enterprise and public administration. In this last aspect, the training provided will allow access to qualified level contracts in various fields of culture, increasingly required in an economically advanced society. It is taught in person. The Degree offers two profiles: Heritage and Curriculum Complement in History.

The ETSII offers degrees in Industrial Engineering, in the specialties of Mechanics, Power and Industrial Electronics; each of them has their respective specialization profiles. Enabling Degrees. Teaching is face-to-face. It has multiple national and international exchange programs. The theory groups are splited into groups of classroom, computer and laboratory of between 12 and 25 students depending on the subject and activity. All students do work experience in a company, allowing them to enhance their employability.

The priority research areas of ETSII are: Renewable energy, energy markets and energy efficiency. Modeling, intelligent control and simulation of production processes. Developments in equipment, machinery, production processes and coatings. All this is complemented with the latest techniques in Lean Production, environment and environmental impacts.
