Internships are held in national and international research centers and biotechnology companies for 4 months in places such as CNIO, CNIC, Imperial College of London, etc.; and in hospitals such as Ramón y Cajal, Sanitas La Moraleja, etc. Finally, an individual research project is carried out.

The degree in Mechanical Engineering has a long trajectory, over 20 years, in which, always with a close relationship with the industrial fabric of the area, has been consolidated as a degree with high quality and acceptance. In addition, it should be noted that it has an occupancy rate of 100% for its graduates. Through its three blocks of optative subjects: Services, Mechatronics and Sustainable Construction, the degree fully addresses cutting-edge aspects for the profession of the industrial branch such as the automation of industrial processes, renewable energy or energy efficiency.

The main goal of our plan of studies is the full training of our graduates in order to carry out their professional activity within any of the activities of veterinary profession: animal medicine and surgery, animal production and health, agri-food technology, veterinary hygiene and safety and public health. The achievement of the competences, both from the theory and practice approaches (to which the students dedicate more than 1500 hours) is carried out in concordance and agreement with relevant sectors of our region.
