U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

The joint study programme aims to train technical experts in agri-food with a much broader and complementary vision by allowing them to design and sign projects in both sectors, as well as integrated projects. Furthermore, this complementary training will be very useful for functions related to agri-food quality or farm management, since in both cases it is necessary to integrate both types of knowledge.

The motivation of the Joint Study Programme is to train technicians who master the main tools of design, production and quality control in the food sector, with a high specialization in the oenological subsector. Thus, in the field of wine, it is very interesting that the oenologists, in addition to being specialists in their own tasks, can address the professional skills of an agri-food industry engineer. These highly qualified professionals will be able to take up the challenge of competitiveness, continuous improvement and adaptation to a market in constant evolution.

The usual occupations are related to advice in the field of work, the welfare benefits of public and private systems and the management of human resources in companies. We can also consider possibilities of labour insertion in the areas of prevention of labour risks, intervention in labour markets, active employment policies and passive social protection, socio-labour audits, etc. It is the polyvalence of the Grade itself that will facilitate access to different labour markets in related fields.

The double facet of teaching and research of the teaching staff of the Faculty allows a comprehensive training of our students, which is increased with a wide range of activities: student reception days, career opportunities, entrepreneurship, cultural and sporting events. In some of our degrees, compulsory external internships play an important role in the training of students and a common objective of all of them is to increase their offer. All of this with the aim of training young people who are responsible, supportive and open to society in general and their environment in particular.

If there is one feature that defines the activity carried out in the Faculty of Science, it is the high level of research work carried out there. The Faculty of Science has research groups of national and international prestige. When the number of articles published in international journals in the database "Essential Science Indicators" shows that the best positions occupied by the UVa correspond to those developed in the Faculty of Science, in areas such as Chemistry, Physics and Materials Science.

The objective of this Master's degree is to provide advanced training and initiation to research in Chemistry, as well as to equip students with the necessary skills to facilitate their incorporation into R&D&I, Analysis or Quality Control departments. It broadens the knowledge received by adding a specialisation in the fields of Chemical Analysis and Quality Control from a non-regulatory point of view, but focused on its technical aspects, and which also includes instrumental or computational methods and tools used by the rest of the areas of chemical knowledge.

Computer Engineering is distinguished by its eminently technological orientation. Our students must be interested and motivated to learn programming languages, development environments, software development techniques (web applications, mobility, service-oriented development, etc.), new information management paradigms such as Blockchain or artificial intelligence techniques. This vocation for technology is key to our degree and guarantees success both at university and in their incorporation into the labour market.

The objective of the Bachelor's Degree in Statistics is to train professionals capable of participating in the process of analysing data of any kind and which serves as support for decision-making. The Degree places special emphasis on applications and the development of the practical part through the inclusion of several specific Computer Science subjects and the use of specialised software in all subjects. For this reason, it is the degree that best prepares students for the analysis of massive data (Big Data) which is currently generating so much demand in the labour market.

The INdat double degree aims to train professionals with a high level of preparation in both computer science and statistics. The combination of these two profiles provides a solid training and a very attractive versatility in any industrial sector that needs both computer science and mathematics to solve complex problems. It has, therefore, an eminently professionalising profile that is reflected in the compulsory nature of work placements in companies and in the different collaboration agreements with technology companies that the centres involved have.

This Master's Degree combines the scientific and basic concepts contained in the subjects with the practical application and specialised concepts close to the industrial reality of the more practical subjects. These subjects are taught by researchers from the CIDAUT Technological Centre for Research and Development in Transport and Energy. The knowledge taught is based on extensive R&D activity specific to the automotive sector, carried out at CIDAUT by its technicians and the lecturers who collaborate on a regular basis.

The physicist is able to evaluate and discern between orders of magnitude, as well as to develop a clear perception of situations that are physically different, but which show analogies, allowing the use of known solutions to new problems. In this way, the graduate will have developed the ability to identify the essential elements of a complex process or situation, which will allow them to construct a simplified model that describes the object of study with the necessary approximation and allows predictions to be made about its future evolution.

The Master's Degree in Physics is especially aimed at Physics graduates and graduates in some of the Double Degrees in Physics and Mathematics. Graduates from other related areas, such as Mathematics, Chemistry, Engineering or Biotechnology, are also welcome. It is structured into three specialisations, which develop some of the most active branches of current Physics, taught by lecturers and researchers from the research groups that support this degree: Physics of the Atmosphere and Climate, Physics of Materials, and Mathematical Physics.
