The ETSEA offers 4 BSc degrees, 2 BSc double-degrees, 8 MSc degrees (including 2 Erasmus Mundus in forestry) and 2 doctoral programs with a distinction of Excellence. Our teaching staff is made up of 250 academics assigned to seven departments. The sector requires highly specialised professionals in each production system, able to keep up-to-date with EU regulations. Food safety, environmental management, intensive and organic production, animal welfare, animal breeding, and a broad knowledge of the international markets and economics are some of the topics covered by the training plan. The 60 ECTS one-year hybrid-learning program combines face-to-face lessons with lecturer-guided online activities.

The aim is to train professionals with a solid analytical basis, abstraction, intuitive and logical knowledge promotion that will qualify students to analyze and solve problems in a large variety of sector areas. The curriculum design is complemented with a strong training in programming skills to solve problems in a variety of interdisciplinary areas and internships in several professional firms, that allow students to get experience in the labor market in tasks that cover from problem analysis and solving, to integrate and lead efficiently multidisciplinary teamworks.
