Our focus areas are polymers, biomolecules, colloidal materials, functional catalysis design, and novel natural substance synthesis. We have also earned an international reputation for developing methods of spectroscopic structure analysis. Our interdisciplinary orientation manifests in large cooperative projects (e.g., CRC 1357 Microplastic) and the bundling of expertise in Key Labs and various research centers.
